That same year, she and J.B. moved to Frankfurt, Germany where they lived until 1972. In 1972, they returned home to Texas and resided in Houston where the couple stayed for many years before moving back to Madisonville.

As a wife she honored her marriage with unwavering support and love. For over 50 years, Mr. & Mrs. J.B. Burns Sr, shared a devoted journey of life and God blessed them with four beautiful children, to this union Latunja, J.B. Jr, Sherica and Quentin were born.

Her passion was singing in the choir and serving others. She continuously strived to be the woman that God called her to be; and effortlessly gave whatever she had to those that she came in contact with. E Baby worked for Madisonville Nursing Home and Madisonville Independent School District for many years. Those who knew her in the community knew her to be an extremely loving and caring person.
