Glenda Elaine Sutton (73) passed away on February 4, 2022 due to complications with cancer.

She was born in Roswell, NM on February 20, 1948 to Ferron and Lora Cummins.

Glenda graduated from Goddard High School, earned her Bachelor in Education degree from NMSU, and earned her Master in Education degree from ENMU. She married Ken Sutton on August 5, 1967. They resided in Roswell until they moved to Ruidoso. She retired from teaching after 30 plus years. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Ruidoso and a volunteer for the POW conferences.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband.

She is survived by her son Ferron and his wife Krista, grandchildren Karli and Kaden, and many other family members and friends.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Kaden Sutton, Jerrod Higgins, Ryan Mathews, Rick Smith, Billy Sutton, Bobby Sutton, and Titus Sutton.

Services for Glenda will be held at First United Methodist Church in Roswell on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9:00 am with graveside services to immediately follow at South Park Cemetery.
