William "Billy" Eugene Murphy 81 of Creal Springs passed away Saturday February 5, 2022 at the Herrin Hospital. He was born on January 31, 1941 in Willaimson Co. Illinois to the late Lee & Edna (Fambrough) Murphy. Billy married Norma (Malcom) Murphy on June 16, 1962 in Creal springs being married 58 years. He was a Construction Labor for the Local Union #577. Billy is survived by his wife a brother Charles Wayne (Linda) Murphy and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded by his parents and 2 children Timothy Todd Murphy & Lisa Ann Murphy.
Funeral services will be Saturday February 12, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cosby-Sloan Funeral Home in Creal Springs with visitation Saturday morning from 11:00 A.M. till funeral hour. Rev Joe Lawson will officiate with burial in the Creal Springs Cemetery.
