Cleo M. Ragan age 88, passed away just before midnight on February 2, 2022, she was born in Hale Center Texas on May 5, 1933 and moved with her family to Albuquerque at the age of three, making their home in the south valley.
Cleo attended Armijo grade school, Washington middle school and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1951. After graduation she began working for Mountain Bell Telephone Company and retired from the Bell System December 31, 1982. Later on, she worked as a teacher's aide at Valley Christian Academy for a few years while raising her two great Granddaughters.
Cleo met and married Raymond R. Ragan, in 1955 her husband of 39 years with which they raised four children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R. Ragan, Son, James R. Ragan, Her Father (Papa) William Monroe Ritchey, her (Mama) Ella Ritchey, Two brothers Newton Ritchey, WM. Ritchey, and four sisters, Velma Wiles, Pansy Leachman, Lera Haagenson, and Emma Kate Baccus.
Cleo is survived by her three daughters. Five Grandchildren. Six Great Grandchildren. Four Great Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
