Paul worked in the construction industry all his life. He was an estimator for Thorns, Walt Limb and his own company, Badger Construction. Paul was a man of his word and set a great example of honesty and integrity for his children and grandchildren.
Paul loved the outdoors; horseback riding, hunting, fishing and going to the family cabin. He loved going hunting with his sons and has many mounts on the walls to show for it.
Paul will be missed at coffee role call by his many friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Christie Ann Cherrington; sons, David (Tonya) and Jon (Sandra); daughters, Danna (Clint) Barter and SueAnn (Ray) Chatwin; 10 grandchildren: Staci Mott, Tiffani Jensen, Tecia Palombo, Shantil Edwards, Brett Chatwin, Skyler Chatwin, Rianne Barter, Blake Cherrington, Mike Cherrington and Jennifer Viehweg; and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Elaine Fisher. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tess Robertson.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Mapleton 16th Ward Chapel at 1316 South Main Street in Mapleton. There will be a Viewing held Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 82 West 400 North in Mapleton and at the Church on Monday one hour prior to the Service.
Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
