Bill Coleman, age 86, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, formally of Blair Town, Pike County, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born on September 9, 1935, to Glen and Viva Justice Coleman. He was one of 11 children. He was a follower of Jesus Christ and lived his life as a man who knew the love, grace and peace of God. Bill retired from Mine Safety and Health Administration. He worked diligently to provide a wonderful life for his family. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and always had a funny saying or joke ready to bring a smile. Besides traveling with his wife, Negotha, or camping with his grandchildren, Bill enjoyed working his fruit orchard, gardening and the company of his family and friends. He considered his biggest earthly treasure to be Negotha and his family. He had many life-long friends and spoke often of the richness they added to his life. He worshiped his savior Jesus Christ as a member of Indian Creek Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by: two siblings, Glen Coleman, Jr., and Ruth Coleman Shelton Gardner; and two half-siblings, Robert Coleman and Katheryn Caudill. He is survived by: six siblings, Odell Hanenberg, Evelyn Stamper, Earl Coleman, Sue Rice, Levi Coleman, and Harold Coleman; his loving wife, Negotha Stevens Coleman; three children, Beverly (Ed) Stump, of Russell, Kentucky, Bill M. (Marcy) Coleman, of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Letitia (Chris) Damron, of Lexington, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Brandy (John) Preston and Eddie (Summer) Stump, both of Russell, Kentucky, Rachel (Robin) Kenley and Jason (Lisa) Coleman, both of Georgetown, Kentucky, Joshua (Heather) Damron, of Lexington, and Isaiah (Kelli) Damron, of Brooklyn, New York; and 12 great-grandchildren, J.D.
