Rose Marie Wilson, 91, of Alpena passed away peacefully Sunday, February 6, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family
Rose Marie Frick was born on January 17, 1931, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to the late August and Hedwig (Ruess) Frick. On July 29, 1950, she married Richard Wilson. Rose was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, its Altar Society, Zonta Club of Alpena and enjoyed quilting at the Alpena Senior Citizens. She was an office manager for 10 years at Edward D. Jones, retiring in 1992. Rose will be remembered for her quick wit and fun loving personality.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; two daughters, Julie (Michael) Mack, Jane (Tim) Modrzynski; four grandchildren, Krystal (Jason) Carter, Tiffany (Adam) Beuhler, Elizabeth (Ethan) Wojda, Alysia Modrzynski; three great grandchildren, Violet, Owen, Emma; sister, Clara Frick; brother, Frank Frick; sisters-in-law, Marlene Frick and Ruth Frick.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by infant son, Ricky; five brothers, August Frick Jr., Otto Frick, Joseph Frick, Eugene Frick, and Carl Frick.
Visitation will take place Wednesday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-7 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. and continue Thursday at St. John the Baptist Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev.
