The family is grieved to announce the passing of Judy, age 88, from Dartmouth, on February 4, 2022.
Born in Moncton, NB, August 8, 1933, she was the only child of Dr. Hugh and Helen MacLean. Judy studied Fine Arts at Mount Allison University, where she met her husband, Herk Taylor (dec.). Judy and Herk are survived by daughters Jill (Don) Slaunwhite and Jane Taylor, and her seven grandchildren, Adam, Benjamin, Eric, and Jack, Logan, Claire, Sam; as well as her great-granddaughter, Savanna.
She retired from her career with Statistics Canada as a supervisor, and continued her lifelong support of the Liberal party and volunteering with many causes dear to her heart.
Cremation has taken place, and as per her wishes, there will be no funeral. There will be several family celebrations of life at later dates.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife or Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.
