CAREER: For several years, Dorothy worked for the Millard County Telephone Company. She had met her intended during a visit to her aunt's home town of Beaver, Utah. In March 1952, Dorothy and Lamar married in the St George, Utah temple. Their first home was in Salt Lake City, Utah; next it was Milford, Utah; then, Caliente, Nevada before they returned to Salt Lake again. They finally settled in Bountiful where they raised their 7 CHILDREN: Christine Mooney; Lynette Robison; Leslie Lund; George Fordham; twins, Roslyn Jensen and Rosalie Lee; and Virginia Compton.
In later life, she and Lamar had served as senior missionaries in the Dallas, Texas temple. It was evident throughout her life that she loved her Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. Additionally, Dorothy's sunny disposition made it a pleasure to be around her.
PREDECEASED by: son, parents and sisters, Lea Rose and Rosa Lee.
SURVIVED by: daughters, Chris (Bob) Mooney, Lynette Robison, Leslie (Robert) Lund, Roslyn (Rick) Jensen, Rose (Mark) Lee, and Virginia (Tim) Compton; siblings, Brenda Johnson, Ginny Llewellyn and Jim Ashman; 21 grandchildren, and a host of extended family members.
