George Harold Hall, age of 85 of Ellijay, GA passed on Thursday morning , February 3, 2022. He was born on June 1, 1936, in Ellijay, GA to his late parents John, Sr. and Mamie Bell (Ingle) Hall. George was a member and past deacon and treasurer for 35 years at the Ellijay Church of Christ. He retired from Robert Shaw Controls after 20 years of service. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School. George is preceded in death by sisters Inez H. Drennen, Mary H. Mayfield, brothers Rev. Fred, Frank, Bill, John, Jr Hall: sisters-in-law Frankie, Lillie, Dorothy, Betty, Lorene. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 2:00pm from the Ellijay Church of Christ with Min. Butch Jones officiating, eulogy by Spencer, Jay,and Tim Hall, Tucker Hall leading congregational singing. Interment will follow in the Ellijay City Cemetery with Spencer Hall, Tucker Hall, Parker Hall, Blake Hall, Doug Hall, John Hall, III, Donald Hall, Danny Hall, Johnny Mayfield, Claude Mayfield and Charles Hall serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the present deacons of the Ellijay Church of Christ.
