Randy Alan Barnett, 71, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Randy was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 14, 1950 to the late Kenneth Harold and Christola (Ashby) Barnett.

He graduated from North High School and worked for Elston Richards. Randy has a passion for collecting knives and guns. He was a sports enthusiast. Randy enjoyed watching IU basketball, the Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR. He loved watching old westerns, especially Gunsmoke. Randy will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle and cousin.

Randy is survived by his sisters, Angel Mitchell (Ted) of Evansville, IN, Sharon Mattingly (Don) of Charlestown, IN, Kathy Dix (Don) of Evansville, IN and Bonnie Lile (Earl) of Jeffersonville, IN; nephew, Christopher Odom; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Barnett.

A celebration of Randy's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 10, 2022 with Pastor Jeff Edmondson officiating. Burial will follow at Barnett Chapel Cemetery inElberfeld, Indiana. Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 and again from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday.
