Reverend Gary Lynn Faulkner, Sr., 75, of Huntsville, Ark., went to his heavenly home on Feb. 1, 2022, at Washington Regional Medical Center.

Gary was born in Madison County on Oct. 4, 1946, to Garland and Geneva Davis Faulkner.

Gary married Wanda Ingram on Aug. 28, 1965, in Huntsville, and together they were the parents to five children. He was in sales for a big part of his life where he was honored with several top awards. He owned his own business, Midwest Tires, where many of his friends would join him daily to sit around and visit. He coached many Babe Ruth and American Legion baseball teams, as well as a Semi-Pro team. A few of his players went on to play Major League Baseball. But his most rewarding achievement was to share the word of God for several years. He was the founding pastor of Living Water Baptist Church up until his health made him go into retirement. He also preached and sang at numerous revivals and churches around the area. One of his special places to minister was First Baptist Church of Blue Eye, Mo., where his dearest friend, Winfred Prier, would always invite him to come and preach. Gary and Wanda got to travel to many wonderful places with Winfred and Leona throughout the years because of their generosity. Gary loved God, family, friends, and FOOD. He wanted to be surrounded by family and loved to watch his grandchildren play sports.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Garland Faulkner and Geneva (Davis) Faulkner; daughter, Stefany Faulkner; brother, Glen Faulkner and infant brother Bobby Faulkner and infant nephew, Matthew Gifford.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Wanda (Ingram) Faulkner; two sons, Gary Faulkner, Jr. of the home and Perry Faulkner and wife, Jalene, of Center Ridge, Ark,; two daughters, Kim Campbell and husband, Lorne, of Springdale and Tiffany Faulkner of the home; sister, Betty Gray and husband, James, and family; sisters-in-law, Judy Faulkner and family and Joyce Ingram and family; grandchildren, Colby Faulkner and wife, Lacee, Emery Smith and husband, Colby, Miles Faulkner and wife Anna, Mason Faulkner, Brianna Lemmons and husband, Mason, Brett McCoy, Brayden Campbell, Blake Campbell, and wife, Candace, Britney Morris and husband, Brad, Logan McCollough and wife, Abbey, and Hattie Ann McCollough; great grandchildren Addie, Brylee, Callie, Taelyn, Brooks, Olivia, Jaxon, and Lainey Jay, as well as several extended family members and numerous friends.
