Jim is survived by his wife, Annette Brooks; three sons Jeff Brooks (Susie), Chris Respess (Charlene), Douglas Respess; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his faithful companions Princess and Morkin.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Janette Brooks and son Adam Brooks.
