Daniel W. Lopez, age 64, passed away peacefully January 25, 2022.
Danny was born in Seattle, WA to Raul and Audrey Lopez. He is survived by his sister Debby & her husband Tim, and sister Diane & her sons Anthony and Austin.
In his early years he participated in the Boy Scouts and the Indian Guides. Danny graduated from Kentridge High School in 1975 and then enlisted in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge Danny worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for more than 30 yrs.
Danny has spent his entire life in the Puget Sound area. He enjoyed the outdoors, taking walks in local parks, reading the newspaper and going out to eat at his favorite local restaurants. Danny was a very nice and respectful person, everyone who has met him had nothing but nice things to say about him. He loved all animals, he couldnt walk by a dog without having to pet it or giving it a treat. Danny was a huge Hydroplane boat enthusiast traveling around to various states to watch them. Danny also gave Hydropane Pit Tours at the SeaFair races for many years. In 2001 Danny was an extra in the Miss Madision Hydroplane Movie.
Danny is loved and will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him.
