Talladega- Jimmy Dale Reed, 75, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, February 4, 2022 at his residence. He was a native of Leeds and a resident of Talladega. He worked for Floyd and Beasley Trucking Company, and was a veteran of the Army. Mr. Reed loved Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Marvin and Olen Reed, one daughter Melissa Darlene Reed, and one grandson Hunter Griffith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years; Maryann Reed of Talladega, two sons; Greg Reed and wife Paula of Odenville, Tim Bishop of Oxford, three daughters; Brittany Bradford and husband Dingy of Talladega, Melissa Patton and husband Mark of Talladega, Gwen McCollum and husband Keith of Ashland, nine grandchildren; Candace, Justin, Colton, Cody, Anna, Kaden, James, Tanner, and Caitlyn and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will be planning a memorial service at a later date
