Wilma Lee Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK was born to Howard Henry and Opal Brines Maidlow on July 4, 1931 in Bone Gap, IL and passed from this life on February 6, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 90 years. Wilma grew up and attended schools in Illinois. On December 12,1949, she married Donald D. Johnson in West Salem, IL. In 1964, Don and Wilma and their family moved to Lindsay, OK when Don was transferred to Lindsay with Cities Service Oil Co. She was a member of the Lindsay United Methodist Church and worked for Sherrie Classic and P. R. Williamsons.
Wilma is survived by her son. Greg Johnson and wife Elizabeth Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK; and daughter, Tamara Clark and husband Steve Clark of Washington, NC. Wilma had four grandchildren, Jeff Johnson of Midwest City, OK, Sara Crawford and husband Tom Crawford of Edmond, OK, Nash Clark of NC, and Conner Clark of NC. Wilma had four great-grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Tyler Ward, Grady Crawford, and Wren Crawford; and four sisters, Pat Seitz, Melba Anderson, Erma Flummerfelt, and Nelda Marx and her husband Carl Marx. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Johnson, on May 6, 1985 and her parents, Howard and Opal Maidlow.
Graveside services will be Friday, February 11, 2022, at 1:00pm in Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK.
