She was preceded in death by her brother, Craig Alton Burkholder; paternal grandparents, Ora and Yonnie (Prince) Burkholder and maternal grandparents, Charles and Lillie (Lewis) Bennett; aunt, Helen Bennett Johnson; and uncle, Ken Hedrick.
She was a member of the Jordan Chapel United Methodist Church at Canvas, a member of the Canvas Pioneer 4-H Club belonging to the Seneca Tribe, an All-Star, a registered nurse having earned her master's degree from St. Mary's School of Nursing, and also was an art history major from Glenville where she made various pieces of artwork.
Surviving besides her parents are her children, Nicholas (Amber) Moore and Wesley (Myra) Moore; siblings, Lydia (Bill) Young and Eric (Elizabeth) Burkholder; grandchildren, Atla Moore, Willow Moore, and August Moore; aunts and uncles, Catherine (Richard) Harlow, Butch (Wilma) Bennett, Becky Hedrick, Ruth Chapman, and Ollie Paul; nieces and nephews, Hilary (Chris) Jordan, Lauren (Aaron) Beam, Emily Burkholder, Lillie Burkholder, and Rachel Burkholder; great-nieces and nephews, Cooper and Emery; and a host of other family and friends; her pets, Riley, Cassie, and Gracie.
In keeping with her wish, she will be cremated and memorial services will be held at Jordan Chapel United Methodist Church on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM with Pastors Bonnie Keener and Jimmy Murphy officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to paying their respects.
White Funeral Home at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
