Tammy Ann Bennette Johnson passed peacefully on Tuesday, 18-Jan-2022, due to chronic medical issues, surrounded by her loving family.
Tammy will best be remembered for her fierce love of family and animals. She was always willing to listen to her friends and simply smile, making her a close confident to all. During her well years, she greatly enjoyed cooking for family and friends and hosting get-togethers-all were welcome.
Tammy was born in South Hill, Virginia on 30-Nov-1968 to the late Charles and Bernice Bennette.
She is survived by her loving family, husband Craig Johnson of Selma, son Charles Johnson of Selma, daughter Liz Bennette of Beaulaville, sister Kathy Moncrief of Winchester, Virginia, grandchildren Dorothy and Anthony Bennette of Selma, niece Ashley Shafer, nephew Lewis Shafer, stepdaughter Nichole Johnson of Selma and stepdaughter Miranda Young of Four Oaks.
Arrangements are being handled by the caring West and Dunn Funeral Home, 208 W Main Street, Benson NC 27504.
Due to possible adverse weather conditions, Tammy's graveside service will be conducted on Monday, 24-January-2022 at Hood's Grove Baptist Church, 677 Hood Grove Church Road, Newton Grove NC 28366. Family and friends are welcome to pay respects after interment at the home of Kimberly Montgomery in Selma NC.
