Ronald J. Bush, 77, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Sunday February 6, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born March 18, 1944 in Grayson, KY a son of the late Larry and Mildred Williams Bush. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years in 2020, Doris Jean Sturgill Bush; and three brothers, Glenn Bush, Joe Bush and Roy Bush.
Ron was a boilermaker with the local 667 out of Nitro, W.V. for 30 plus years, retiring as Business Agent. Ron was an active member of the Grayson Church of Nazarene. Ron enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends at the family cabin on Johnson Creek. Ron was an avid East Carter sports fan and loved watching his grandkids play sports. To Ron everyone was like family to him and he encouraged everyone to call him, "Pa".
Ron is survived by two daughters, Veronica (Bob) Thomas and Valerie Young both of Grayson; four grandchildren, Katelyn (Luke) Carroll, Alex (Tori) Thomas, Caroline Young and Lucas Young; two great-grandchildren, Kendall Jade Carroll and Kora Grace Carroll; two brothers, William "Bill" (Bernice) Bush and Larris (Lori) Bush both of Grayson.
Funeral Services will be 1pm Thursday February 10, 2022 at the Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Bayless and Bro. Mike Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-9 pm Wednesday and after 9 am Thursday until the service hour.
