After 32 years at the Tecumseh factory, she was proud to open her own cleaning business. She was a breast cancer survivor of 10 years. She was courageous, brave and strong through all that she endured in life. She enjoyed being outside to bike or cross country ski, and she liked traveling to tropical places. During summers, she loved having pool parties with friends and family. She loved going shopping almost every weekend and always knew how to find the bargains. Most of all, she loved cooking. She always made sure her family had home-cooked meals and was always asked to bring her famous desserts to family gatherings. Her family was important to her; she loved her husband, children, and grandchildren immensely, as well as her dog, Cookie.
