Roy is famous for his cornbread, biscuits and gravy, whisker rubs, infectious laugh, good night kisses and sneaking his grandchildren junk food when no one was watching. He fervently loved his home state of Tennessee and all its sport teams. He would take his children and grandchildren there every chance he could in hopes of them loving the Sevierville area as much as he did. Rest assured that he is eating his favorite peanut butter and crackers in the presence of the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Mary King and Juanita Newman.
