Mr. Graves Michael Werts, of Silverstreet, died of diabites after a lingering illness at the home of his nephew, Mr. O. W. Long, at Utopia, on Thursday morning at 4 o'clock, and was buried at Mt. Zion on Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock, services by the Rev. D. P. Boyd. He was 59 years old, and is survived by three brothers and two sisters, as follows: Jno. H. Werts, of Greenwood; J. S. Werts, of Silverstreet; R. (sic, F.) M. Werts, of Newberry; Mrs. Alice Boazman, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. J. Yancey Floyd, of Township No. 6.
