Robert M. Short, age 91, of Speedwell passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. He was a member of Flatwoods Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife: Virginia Short, long term companion: Melva Speakman, parents: John W. and Betty Harris Short, brothers: William, Garfield and Tilman Short, sisters: Nettie Byas, Zola Haynes, Sarah McConaha, Willie Rigney.

Daughters: Betty Jo Grube, Penny Sue Crosswhite, Robin Gail Loomis, Ginger Kay Short

18 Great-grandchildren

Brother: John D. Short and wife Sandi
Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service following at 7 PM Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev Tommy Cutcher officiating. Interment Short Family Cemetery in Laurelville, OH
