She was born June 9, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Erling and Nellie (Dehli) Nelson.
June graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and spent her career as a second grade teacher in the Mount Prospect, Illinois public school system.
She was preceded in death by: her brother, Henry Nelson; her sister, Evelyn Linne.
Graveside funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery at the corner of 4th and Ridgeway in Waterloo.
