Shannon Melinda Wheeler, age 63 of Bremen, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at a local healthcare facility. She was born in Columbus, Georgia on May 9, 1958, daughter of the late Medford Odell Wheeler and Eva Grace Monahan Wheeler. She was a housewife and attended Piney Woods Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Cody Leeann Tackett.
Survivors include her spouse, Tim Reece; a son, Michael Vanderburg of Dallas; a sister, Pamela Brown of Blue Ridge; a brother, Bill Wheeler of Armuchee; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home. John Swan, Johnny Swan, Cory Meeks, Bradley Shinall, Marcus Shinall and Joseph Burns will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Piney Woods Baptist Church Cemetery.
