Richard "Dick" Gray, 65, of Blencoe, Iowa passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center, Sioux City, Iowa.

Per Dick's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Richard Dana was born September 30, 1956 in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Donald Henry Gray, Sr. and Betty Mae (Heistand) Gray. Dick grew up on a farm near Turin, Iowa. He attended West Monona Community Schools.

Dick and Betty Irene Bridgeman were married January 15, 1979 in Onawa, Iowa.

Dick worked at Westendorf Manufacturing in Onawa, Iowa as a welder for many years. He went on to Godberson-Smith Construction Company in Ida Grove, Iowa for carpentry and worked there for several years.

He enjoyed fishing, cars, motors, and working with his hands. He loved to tinker around and build odds and ends. He enjoyed all animals, especially his dog companion, "Rowdy".

Survivors include his wife, Betty Gray of Blencoe, Iowa; his children, Erin (fiancé Wade Delashmutt) of Blencoe, Iowa, Kyle Gray of Blencoe, Iowa, James (Janelle) Gray of Ute, Iowa, and special friend and like a son, Tom (Brittany) Baker of Blencoe, Iowa; his mom, Betty M. Gray of Onawa, Iowa; grandchildren, Madison Delashmutt, Dalton Delashmutt, Eann Gray, Hunter Gray, McKenna Gray, Eli Gray, Effy Gray, Liam Gray, Axie Gray, Lilly Baker, and John Baker; brothers and sisters, Kathy (Rob) Huntley of Whiting Iowa, Kenny Gray of Turin, Iowa, Karry Gray of Ida, Grove, Iowa, and Michael Gray of Clarinda, Iowa; his dog companion, Rowdy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Gray, Sr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob ad Elsie (Polly) Bridgeman; two brothers, Donald Gray, Jr., and Ed (Luanna) Gray, Sr.; and niece, Angie (Gray Palmer) Marlin.
