BROOCKS, Patricia "Patti" C., 63, devoted wife, mother and daughter went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2015. She had a loving 27 year marriage with her husband, Ronald Broocks, residing in Midlothian Va. and later Powhatan Va. She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Chewning. She is survived by her father, Haywood Chewning; brother, Glenn Chewning; children, Rebecca Severin (partner, Charlie Goldwyre), Anne Kathryn Severin (fiance, Ryan Basiliere), Amanda Broocks, Brandon Broocks and wife, Jennifer; and five grandchildren, Zachary Herring, Bryson Broocks, Brennan Basiliere, Kellan Rose Basiliere and Jack Goldwyre; as well as a multitude of additional family members and close friends. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 11220 Nuckols Rd., Glen Allen, Va. 23059, with a reception to follow.
