William Charles "Huk" Knight, III, 80, of Hanover, passed away on January 31, 2022. He was born in Baltimore, to the late Carvilla and William C. Knight, II. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1959. After high school, Huk worked for the department of labor starting in the shipyard and then went on to work at OSHA as a chief safety officer. He also worked as an inspector on the Liquor Board and The Board of Appeals for Anne Arundel County. Huk was a member of the Masons and Shriners. Huk enjoyed boating, watching football, playing cards, coaching and playing softball, and discussing politics. Huk was predeceased by his devoted wife of 46 years, Nancy Lee Knight, his son-in-law, James "Jim" Stracke Jr., grandson Adam Joseph Moore, and his great-granddaughter, Alexis Groseclose.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Jayne Stracke and Joan (Sean) Frantum, Kelly (Bollino) Moore, his son, Chuck (Barbara) Bollino; his cherished grandchildren, William C. "WC" (Brandy) Bennett Sr., Sean Frantum Jr., Shane Frantum, Amber Frantum, Jim Stracke III, Brittany Stracke, Danielle Stracke, Rachel Stracke, Michael (Katie) Bollino, Matthew (Kathleen) Bollino, Katherine (John) Tortorich, Anna Bollino, Justin (Julie) Moore, Ryan Moore, Alexander Moore; his loving great-grandchildren, William C. Bennett Jr., Avah Groseclose, Luna Grace Frantum-Vela, Katlyn, Jason, James, Henry and Barrett.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S. W. (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, February 6th , from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 7th , at 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
