Morning Call, The (Allentown, PA) - February 23, 1987

An Emmaus man died yesterday after an auto accident on Route 309 at Tilghman Street early in the morning.

Jeffrey M. Brumagin, 22, of 931 Little Lehigh Drive died in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center.

According to South Whitehall Township police, Brumagin was found at 2:38 a.m. lying on the roadway near his car, which had flipped on its left side in the northbound lane of Route 309. He was taken to LVHC by Cetronia Ambulance Corps and was admitted with multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead a few hours later.

Lehigh County Coroner Robert Weir has scheduled an autopsy for today. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call the department at 398-0337.

Born in Cleveland, he was a son of Linda (Myles) Brumagin, with whom he resided, and the late W. Charles Brumagin.

He was a 1986 graduate of West Virginia University and a member of the class of 1982 at Emmaus High School.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown.

Surviving with his mother are paternal grandmother, Virginia Brumagin of Wheaton, Ill.; maternal grandparents, Asa and Ruth Myles of Solon, Ohio; a brother Stephen of Attleboro, Mass., and a sister Leslie of Emmaus.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. There will be no calling hours.

The Horace W. Schantz Funeral Home, 3rd and Main streets, Emmaus, is in charge of arrangements.
