Jeffrey Alan Jones, age 61, formerly of Counce, TN passed away Feb 3, 2022. He was a graduate of Germantown High School, class of 1980 and Wm. R. Moore School of Technology, class of 1982. Jeff worked for the United States Postal Service from 1982 to 1991. He was forced into early disability retirement in 1992. Jeff loved music and played guitar and piano by ear. Jeff enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing at Pickwick Lake. He also enjoyed fishing trips to Reelfoot Lake with his Dad, brother and Uncle. He participated in Outdoors Without Limits of Collinwood, TN. Jeff truly enjoyed "fixing" things. Whether it was a lawn mower, boat motor, or automobile once he got into it, he would not be detoured until it was fixed. Jeff was a member of NAMI and an advocate for mental health. He also was a member of First Baptist Church Counce. Jeff is survived in death by Don Jones (Dad) of Memphis, TN, Gale B Jones (Mom) and Brian Jones (brother), Beth Jones (sister in law) both of Birmingham, AL and nephews Vaughn Jones, Cory Jones and Andrew Jones, all of Birmingham, AL.
Funeral services will be held Sunday February 6, 2022;
