Mr. Ronald K. Jackson, age 64, a resident of Mayfield, passed away at 7:08 P.M. Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. He was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church and a retired Correctional Officer for Kentucky Juvenile Justice System. He is survived by his wife; Laura Jackson, three sons; Eric (Lillian) Jackson, Glen Burnie, MD., Michael Allen Jackson and Matthew Jackson, both of Mayfield, one sister; Pam Crouch, Mayfield and one brother; Jeff Jackson, Mayfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; Gurvis T. and Joyce Daniel Jackson. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Cuba Baptist Church with Revs. Matthew Jackson and Nathan Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Cuba Baptist Church from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Thursday. Serving as pallbearers will be; Mitchell Klapp, Kristopher Mason, Micah Seavers, Alex Jackson, Isaac Klapp and Jeremy Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be; Kamdon Jackson, Karson Jackson, Dawson Klapp, Wesley Klapp, Kevin Carter, Ethan Douglas and Tyziah Jones. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
