Brenda Freeman, 75, of Maxton, NC, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2022. She was a dedicated employee of J.P. Stevens for 10 years. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Hebron Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Freeman; her son John Christopher Freeman; her parents Somerset and Vergie Strickland; her sister Jacqueline Sue Huckabee and her brother Freddie Strickland.
She leaves to cherish her sons Jeffery Freeman and Josh Freeman of the home, David Freeman and wife Kayla Freeman (Maxton); her daughter Patricia Freeman (Maxton); six grandchildren Kameron, Kadance, and Colston Freeman, Johnathan and Landon Locklear, Caitlin Baker, and two great grandchildren Carter Locklear and Josiah Freeman; four brothers Bobby Strickland of Utah and Micheal Strickland and wife Anita Strickland of Laurinburg, NC, and Ricky Strickland, Craig Strickland (Laurinburg, NC), one sister Geraldine Mitchell (Laurinburg, NC), and a host of family and friends.
