Joe Craven Henry, 68, of Goldsboro passed away Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He is the son of the late Robert and Thelma Wiggs Henry. Mr. Henry was retired from Cherry Hospital, was a past member of the American Legion, and a past member and enthusiast of the Goldsboro High School Goldmasquers Drama Club.
Funeral services will be held Monday evening at 7:00 PM at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Shirley Ward officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 PM at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service on Monday Evening.
Joe is survived by his son, Eric Henry and wife, Sarah of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Christopher and Elizabeth Henry and DeShawn Ellerbee; the mother of his children, Pat Henry; and a cousin, William Douglas of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jody and two brothers, Bill and Robert Henry.
