Betty/Mamang was born on April 23, 1937 in Pasay City, Philippines. She was the fourth of her nine sisters. She came to America during the summer of 1983. She was a hard working Mamang who loved to cook for her children and grandchildrens. She loved watching Filipino and American action movies. She loved drinking coffee for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, word puzzles, coloring books, reading the Bible, and playing solitaire card games. She became a nursing assistant and worked for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed driving with her sunglasses on to visit her friends, sisters, going to Sunday mass, and church gatherings. She was a member of the Fresno Christian Fellowship Church.

Whatever circumstances she endured she was able to handle it herself. She didn't like physical pain. We never saw her cry or shed any tears. She was that strong. She was also witty. She never verbalized what she wanted for us in our lives but in her kind heart, she wanted us all to succeed and have a great happy life.

A loving, kind, and wonderful Mother and Lola who will forever be missed.
