On December 3, 1934, he was born in Cayuga, Indiana, the son of Glen and Lena {Gebhart} Beck. He was united in marriage to Betty Lamar on March 31, 1956 in Georgetown. She will miss him dearly.
He is also survived by his special niece, Lisa (Jeff) Alspaugh, as well as many more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Charles 'Chuck' W. Beck; three brothers and one sister.
He graduated from Cayuga High School in 1952. For 51 years he worked at Colonial Brick Corporation in Cayuga, Indiana. He also assisted people with taxes at his home. He was a member of the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene since 1965. He served in many capacities including treasurer which he held for 31 years and as usher, as well as helping with many Church needs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery.
