Recognized for his hard work and devotion to family, his life was full of loving and giving to others. He was a truck driver, plumber, and logger who enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and gardening. More than anything, he was known for his unending love of animals and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Eagle Mills Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas.
Lacy was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Walters; his grandson, Johnny Ray Hooks; his parents, Willie Walters and Coy Walters; his brothers, Steve Walters and Willie Walters; and seven sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Syble Little-Walters; his son, Lacy "Pete" Walters (Jamie) of Conway, AR; his daughters, Cindy Neely (Randy) of Camden, AR and Jeannette Walters; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and his sister, Bertha McClure.
The memorial services will be held in Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, Arkansas with the Revs. Chris Morgan and Jody Tillery officiating. The burial services will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 2880 Fairview Road, Camden, Arkansas.
