Betty Susan (Reed) Charles age 57, wife of Dwayne Charles, of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, January 28, 2022 at her home.

She was born July 20, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Austin Reed and Mabel (Free) Reed.

Surviving family include her husband, Dwayne Charles whom she married July 25, 1981; her son, David Charles of Pine Knot; her daughter, Tabitha Cuomo (and Justin) of Irwin, PA; a sister, Mabel Taylor (and William) of Erlanger, Kentucky; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Charles; and special nieces and nephews, Joshua, Aaron, and Ashley Taylor.

Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of others. She liked to work in her garden, singing, and crafting. Betty loved to spend time with her family, but she found her most joy when she was with her granddaughter, Brooklyn.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday after 6:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
