Brenda Reeves Martin, 68, of Leesburg, GA died Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Doerun City Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.
Brenda was born June 5, 1953 in Moultrie, GA to Herbert Thomas and Mary Etta Partain Reeves. When she was ten years old, her family settled in Lee County, GA where Brenda was raised and graduated from Lee County High School. She enjoyed working in the yard and planting a garden, and she loved to dance. Brenda always wanted to be surrounded by her family and grandchildren who she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothy Warren.
Survivors include two children, Pacer (Erin) Martin of Lee County, GA and Cansas (Jason) Purvis of Albany, GA, the love of her life, Bart Cannon of Lee County, GA, her brother Robert Reeves of Leesburg, GA, four sisters, Nancy (Jerry) Meadows, Sara (Steve) Clark all of Leesburg, GA, Brandi Withrow of Butler, GA, Jane (Jay) Barker of Apex, NC, grandchildren, Jasmine (Francisco) Lopez of Albany, GA, Mia Martin of Lee County, GA, and four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Paige, Taylor, and T.J.
