Cheryl Lynn Hart passed into eternal rest to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

She was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on August 6, 1949 to William and Frances Schofield. Of all the things in her life, she loved her sons Kevin and Weszt, her granddaughter Madison, and her very best friend the most. They were her everything. She loved to travel and visited France, Italy, and the west coast of the United States with her son, Weszt. Her next great love was the beach. She frequently went to the beach on the weekend looking for peace, solitude, rest, and a great tan.

She loved the Lord, and attended Meadowbrook Church every Sunday she could. Cheryl lived life to the fullest. She was out-going to the point that she could make a friend anywhere. She dearly loved animals, sometimes taking in cats and dogs that nobody else wanted.

Cheryl's absence in the lives of those she loved and those that loved her will create a void that nothing can fill.

She is survived by her mother, Frances Schofield, of Charleston, South Carolina; her son, William (Weszt) Hart of Los Angeles, California; sister Jan Dandridge of Summerville, South Carolina; and granddaughter Madison Hart of Leesburg, Florida. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Hart.

The family is holding a private service at her home on Saturday, February 5. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Cheryl's memory be made to Tunnels to Towers, Marion County Humane Society, and the Children's Burn Camp of North Florida.
