Mrs. Campbell was a former resident of Franklin, MS and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a lifetime member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Farr Campbell; one daughter, Dororthy Jean Campbell; her parents, Thomas Jefferson Allen and Rosella Case Allen; two sisters, Virgie Gibbs and Alma Mullens; and four brothers, Versie, Wilburn, Smylie and Spencer Allen.

She was survived by two daughters, Betty "Sis" Purvis of Denham Springs, LA and May E. "Baby" Campbell of Baton Rouge; one son, James M. Campbell of Vicksburg; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
