Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Kay Taylor will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Topsy Baptist Church, Topsy, with Reverend Lloyd Carroll officiating.
Interment will follow in Creel Memorial Gardens, Reeves, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Taylor, 70, of Palestine, Texas entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 30, 2022, in her residence.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She loved gardening and spending time her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Odell Taylor; her mother, Edith Reeves; one granddaughter, Anne Marie Taylor; two brothers, Michael Reeves and Douglas Reeves; three sisters, Wanda Murphy, Patricia Cooper and Linda Fugua.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Richard Scott Taylor, and his wife, Brandy, of Palestine, Texas; one daughter, Tammy Pierce, and her husband, Joseph, of LaPorte, Texas; her father, Ray Reeves, of Topsy; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Elizabeth, Amber, Hannah, Hayden, Holden and Peyton; and seven great grandchildren, Delani, Avram, Adalynn, Arsyn, Joshua, Adison and Rae-Lynn.
A time of visitation will be held at Topsy Baptist Church, Topsy, on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. until time of the service.
