Cynthia "Cyndi" Marie (Mings/Pristach) Lundy, 52, of Bridge Creek, died unexpectedly on Sunday January 30, 2022. While she had been battling cancer for many months, her loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Cyndi was born on July 12, 1969 to Opal Jane De La Rosa and William Jasper Mings in Hutchinson, KS. She was preceded in death by her father and adopted in 1972 by Paul L. Pristach. Cyndi graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1987 and received her Bachelors of Business Administration from Brown Mackie College.
She worked for many years in the hotel industry putting her management skills to the test in catering and sales which took her to several cities across the United States including Cincinnati, Denver and finally moving to Oklahoma in 2001. In 2021, she began working at Paycom and was with them until she passed.
She met her husband, John Lundy, in Cincinnati and they married February 14, 1999 in Denver. He survives along with their three sons, John Tyler (JT) Lundy, 21, Edmond, OK; Brett Wayne Lundy, 20; and Shane Myrrl Lundy, 17, of the home. Cyndi was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents. Cyndi's passions were her children and the Kansas City Chiefs. Most of her days were spent watching professional football or her boys playing it. The day before she passed, she was delighted to watch Shane wrestle for Bridge Creek. Her loving, bubbly personality and witty humor made her a friend to everyone she met. Her family and friends, both near and far, will miss her.
