Gina Costa was born and raised in Italy with her loving family and 7 siblings.
She married her first husband, Daniele Salini in Italy and shortly after the couple moved to the United States, finding a home and employment in Oakland, California. Here they had twins, daughters, Ana and Dana born in 1953.
Gina worked at the Colombo Bakery. She was a very proud and very hard worker who loved her Colombo Family. She retired from the Colombo Bakery after 35 years.
On October 28, 1972 Gina married Petrus E. Townsend, and they purchased a home in San Lorenzo where they lived out their years. They did not have additional children and Petrus loved the girls deeply, as did the entire Townsend Family.
Gina was predeceased by her husbands Daniele Salini and Petrus Townsend, as well as five of her siblings, all in Italy.
Gina is survived by her twin daughters, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dina, nieces and nephews and many other extended family members in Italy and the USA.
Due to Covid, a Memorial Service was held at a later date.
Burial is in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward, California
