Passed away unexpectedly, on January 29, 2022. Arthur was born on May 10, 1962 to Arthur Sr. and Tollie (Johnson) Sharpe in Montgomery, Alabama. Arthur graduated from Grand Ledge High School and then attended Michigan State University where he earned his Associates Degree is Agricultural Engineering and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. After graduation he began his loyal and dedicated career with General Motors. He was a proud and present father to his son Alex who was his little buddy. Growing up he took Alex everywhere with him proudly on his shoulders. They loved golfing and playing tennis together and competing in any pinball game, Arthur was always the reigning champion. He was known to be out Cruising in his Z06, reading and collecting books, and loved watching Nascar. He was an avid MSU fan and a strong and competitive powerlifter. He helped the girl scouts delivering cookies and always had a few boxes of thin mints to keep around. Arthur was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone he could. His jokes and laugh will be missed by all who knew him. Arthur's mother Tollie welcomed him at the Heavenly gates. He is survived by his little polar bear cub his son, Alexander (RaeAnna Asbury) Sharpe; his loving father, Arthur Sharpe Sr.; his brothers and sister, Alvin (Kim) Sharpe, Allen Sharpe, Antonio Sharpe, and Angela Sharpe-Parker; special brother, Randy Johnson; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Roy) Ozier, Danielle Parker, Alvin II ( Alyssa) Sharpe, Alysse Sharpe, Alana (Immanuel) Vaughn-Burtley, Angelo Sharpe, and Melana Sharpe. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel, 6020 W. Saginaw Hwy, Lansing. Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM until the time of service. Memorials may be made to The American Diabetic Association in memory of Arthur.
