She loved her Lord Jesus Christ, the Church, her family and friends. After growing up in Minnesota, she moved near the Atlanta airport to work for Southern Airways, and once married stayed at home to raise her children. She was very involved at Christ Lutheran Church in East Point where she was an organist, sang in the choir, played in the hand-bell choir and taught in the preschool. She was an avid quilter and loved to sew, enjoyed painting landscapes and floral arrangements and was an excellent cook. She loved family get-togethers and playing pinocle.
