Howard Homer Jones, 83, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

Howard was born on June 6, 1938 in Malden, IN, to Homer and Ramona (Heron) Jones.

Surviving are his children, Mark (Susan) Jones of Lake City, MN, and Tammy (Gary) Glauser of La Porte; grandchildren, Tom (Brianne) Covington, Miles and Landon Herrbach, and Sarah and Samantha Jones; 3 great-grandchildren, Rocky, Clark and Ronan; siblings, Norma Booker, Alice Yacullo, Leonard Jones, Paul Jones, Barbara Noe, Kenneth Jones and Edith Clemmer; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Tom Jones; and siblings, Edna Brandley, Joyce Davis, Loretta Dunn, and Steven Jones.

Howard worked in maintenance for an apartment complex. He was an avid White Sox fan. Howard enjoyed reading his Bible, fishing and hunting.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family burial will take place at Heckman Cemetery.
