Robert Matthew Stanley, age 91, of Gurley, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Robert was born December 22, 1930 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Almond and Hazel Stanley. Mr. Stanley served his county during the Korean War while in the United States Army. He loved flying small planes, camping and boating. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Eva Nell Stanley, and brother Jack Stanley. He is survived by his son Robert Gary Stanley and his wife Teri. Grandchildren Brett Stanley and his wife Traci and Kiara Stanley. Great grandchildren Dawson and Brayden, as well as niece Bonnie Sargent and her husband Larry and nephew Court Stanley. A graveside service for Me. Stanley will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
