Mr. William Gregory Sanderson better known as Greg, age 56 of Guin passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.
Greg was born in Winfield, AL on February 25, 1965 to Junior and Geneva Sanderson. He was a 1983 graduate of Brilliant High School and was owner / operator of Tiger Mart in Brilliant for several years. Greg also worked for the Winfield Cotton Mill, King Kutter, Inc. and Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
Greg is survived by his wife, Veva Berryhill Sanderson, his children, Daphne Sanderson Pasley (Jordan), Emily Sanderson (Terran Lovett) and Devin Sanderson, grandchildren, Lauren, Ezra, Eliza, Evie, stepchildren, Harley Shaw, Alec Shaw and Gracie Mays, sisters, Amelia Hamric (Greg) and Becky Jones, a sister-in-law, Doris Sanderson and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Mr. Sanderson was preceded in death by his parents, George "Junior" and Geneva Mills Sanderson, his brothers, Bobby, Danny and George Sanderson and a nephew Hollin Sanderson.
The funeral service for Greg will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
