Ruth Anne Taylor, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She was born on January 19, 1944 in Buffalo, New York to Walter and Florence Cox.
She had many interests, including painting, scrapbooking, genealogy and history, and spreading love among her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Florence, and her brothers Bruce and Maddy.
She is survived by her husband, Richard H. Taylor of Post Falls, Idaho; mother-in-law, Gloria, of Malta, Montana; sisters, Mary Cox of Chattaroy, Washington; Marci Kollat (Karl) of Green Spring, Ohio; and Emily Deaver (Mike) of Post Falls, Idaho; sons Daniel Taylor (Rebecca) of Omak, Washington; Donald Taylor (Tacy) of Mabton, Washington; Hugh Taylor (Debbie) of Libby, Montana; and Jesse Taylor (Renee) of Helena, Montana; her daughter Dawn Braden (Pat) of Post Falls, Idaho; her stepsons Timothy Taylor (Shelly) of Kalispell, Montana; Robert Taylor (Vicki) of Alaska; and Ray Taylor of Libby, Montana; and stepdaughter Penny Meyer (Forrest) of Troy, Montana; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Schnackenberg Funeral Home, 422 W 2nd Street, Libby, Montana, followed by a graveside burial ceremony. Any cards or flowers may be delivered to the funeral home. Any financial gifts may be delivered to the Church of God, 1007 Utah Street in Libby, for the purchase of Gideon Bibles.
