Patricia Holland Shell, 84, of Hickory, passed away on February 1, 2022 at Carolina Caring. She was born on June 10, 1937 to the late C. R. Holland and Elsie Eckard Holland in Catawba County. Patricia was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was a former long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was a life long teacher, serving Grandview Middle School and the Hickory City Schools for over 38 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; G. Ray Shell.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The family will receive prior to the service from 9:00 until 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. Pastor Judy Drysdale will be officiating the service. Memorials may be made to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Rd.
